So, this is our first Litfest event since moving from Headingley Community Centre to the HEART building. We are still waiting for a new cupboard upstairs in the Pulse room!
The rehearsals are a little bit subdued as we got the news that Geoff, a long-standing member of the team, had died, and texts and e-mails have been flying back and forth. The idea of dedicating this performance to him has been turned down by Joan, our chairperson as she feels it may bring audiences down who didn't know him. And so we are using that idea for a May mixed poetry evening.
The dancers for the music cues are due to be in sometime next week, but the laptop with the music on is currently playing up.
Tell me more about the dreams event, it sounds really interesting. I've just started keeping a diary of my dreams as part of a hypnotherapy and counselling course I'm studying. I'm surprised by the clarity of the themes that run through them, I seem to be dreaming the same dream but in different surroundings over and over...
